Its messed up cause, Haim, does have talent and Lost Boys is a cult classic which were his character Sam was a big part of. Personally I wished that Feldman and Haim would of been the kickass team they were in the original.

I think this actually airs this coming Sunday. Perez Hilton or someone else released this clip (probably A&E themselves) over the weekend. Plus, Feldman himself posted on his blog about this very episode and clip and simply said "Brace yourselves..."

Daaaaammmmnnnnn....

Corey.. get it together man..
This guy waited desperatly for 20 years for Lost Boys 2 and this is how he acts on set?
People are tired of giving this guy second, third chances.. theres no more bridges to be burnt.
Sad.

This is so depressing. I love both of the Coreys. I was raised on Lost Boys, and this is my most anticipated film of the year along with The Dark Knight. Evidently, based on the positive and negative reviews I've read, Edgar Frog at the least is f'ing amazing in this, though each writer noted the surprisingly small part for his partner in crime. It's without a doubt in my mind that Haim's role, even during the reshoots, was much larger, but was truncated for reasons displayed in this video. If Ryan or anyone else here can correct me on that I'd love to know, but Hans Rodionoff alluded to scenes(plural) involving Haim re-added to the script. He was absolutely not behaving that way during any other footage I've seen from this or last season of TTC, so either it's some complete nervous breakdown or he really was using drugs. I still remember Roger Ebert's praise for Haim's titular role in Lucas, making this video even more heartbreaking. I hope he gets his s*** together for Lost Boys 3 at least, given the talk of it revolving around Edgar and his posse.

You people do realise the entire show is scripted and staged, right?

Of course they'd never actually admit to that, at least not while it's still on the air and making them both money, but every major beat of this show, every "shocking twist", is planned in advance with the full knowledge of both Coreys.

Fox News is more grounded in reality than this thing...

Neither Art nor Entertainment.

The first season was scripted - note the sitcom-like qualities, with each episode finishing as the conclusion of some moral parable or whatever (Don't smoke, be courteous to those who don't eat animals, etc.) Feldman and Haim even admitted credit as "writers" of the first season. However, this series of episodes, not only carries with it an entirely different production team, but far less control from the Coreys (at least Haim) over what has been shown. The term "executive producer," their titles on this show, and what I'm sure your basing your assumption on, can mean a variety of things, not necessarily a "final cut" on whatever is shown. Kevin Smith (Clerks) was the executive producer for Good Will Hunting because he helped Ben and Matt get funding and find a director for the script. He didn't have anything to do with the finished movie. Yeah, Haim and Feldman obviously know about what's going on as they stand in front of the camera day to day. Is this season fake? Considering the constant rumors of Haim's continued addiction, and difficulties in getting him involved with the film...I'm not entirely convinced. I am quite aware that it's television, and there's an editor and an entire film crew involved in molding the material into something entertaining. However, I don't think this is one of those moments that has been scripted, and it's rather tragic. Aside from that, this is footage from the set of Lost Boys 2. The budget on the film was ridiculously low, so I don't think they had the resources to allow the crew of The Two Coreys to fiddle around with everything in attempts to make a "controversial" episode. It was a fairly quick shoot, and I'm sure the producer in that clip wasn't coerced by some A&E guy to flip out on Haim about refusing to go on set.

Sure, last season was scripted "but now it for reals, yo". Bollocks. Of course it's scripted and planned.

And of course this was all planned for and done during the actors off time when they weren't really required on the set of Lost Boys 2.

Oh, look, I just mentioned the name of the film, that's like...advertising! It's all cross promotion, helps get the word out about the new film, and get people talking about it, while also selling the new season of the show, that's how the gimmick works.

First they set up the "but they don't want you for the sequel" Corey Haim subplot, which then miraculously gets changed at the last minute, "they do want you after all, hooray", then "oh no, the role is in danger again", and then those problems get overcome, "hooray, again", and now, "oh no, there's trouble on the set". If it was any more scripted it'd be called Professional Wrestling.

But hey, if you want to believe, who am I to trample over your fantasy world?

Yes, I have this vague feeling that this whole thing nothing but a weird tie-in the jump start the Lost Boys "franchise," that the whole series is nothing but a way for Warner to get the "word" out there on this straight to DVD... thing.

Posted by: Rabba on July 9, 2008 at 12:57:08

The only thing thats scripted in the second series is the psychiatrist's inserts, whereas the rest is 100% genuine/legit.

To make it clear though, we obviously aren't being shown the full picture. It has been edited down in such a way that its a fragmented version of the truth....not scripted, but cut out certain parts [such as this Haim scene, edited to magnify that Haim is a mess and has relapsed - he could just be stressed as hes been waiting 21 years to return to his respective character. The use of dramatic music just dramatises this further].

I'm a huge fan of both Feldman and Haim, so my view will obviously conflict with the views of the know-it-all haters who seem to have it in for them.

I hope en this seasons Corey and Corey have sex with lost boys! Great for movie film tv things! Happy dance!

To point out that something is pre-planned isn't being a "hater", it's just pointing out the blindingly obvious. Buy you go right on fellating two actors who haven't been relevant for two decades now, and swallowing every lump they crap your way as if it's chocolate ice cream, like the blind little sycophant you clearly are.

I have been watching this TV show ever since it came out. I know so many people who are like Haim. I really just think that if he met the right person who he knew he could trust and someone who would stick with him through all the rough times, he might have a little bit more faith in himself. I wish I could just give him a big hug and tell him how important he is to some people. I mean he obviously has a lot of fans out there. I read stuff about him all the time. This is the first time I have ever posted something about Corey and I would never say anything negative about him because nobody deserves that. Yes he has his own problems, but who doesn't? It just takes time. He will come around. Love you Corey. You are a great person and don't let anyone tell you other wise.

michael morley... now THAT'S a post! LOL!

I don't see how people can call Corey Haim a good person. It's not like he's made the world a better place with his compassion and selflessness. He looks like an a-hole to work with, and although his movies were good in the 80's, HE was never that good in them. He is a PR agent's worst nightmare. I'd rather work with that coocksucker Tom Cruise.

What a shame, I think Haim is still in the grips of his disease where everything is about him and can only feel what directly effects him. A necessary evil and long process. He has so much to process before empathy is real for him. I sure hope he pulls it together before he trashes everything that measns something to him.

You are kidding right? Feldman and Haim never had any acting talent and never will. Its sad though he has a drug problem. They have as much talent as pauly shore or steve guttenberg.
They are shyte actors.

what is the story w/ the alternate endings plot and the mini scen in the credits.

my thought is that they had a series of major roles planned for Haim and this was all they could get on camera.

It seems odd that an Aunt pops in to story that we never heard of and they vaguely give mention of the new emrsons being star and mikes kids.

here is my thought on where the story was going and if wrong it would have made a good movie.

I think Corey was to be in the movie as the uncle they come to stay with and his neice gets mixed up with the vamps, so his nephew and him (haim) go to help from the frog brothers and during the effort of help the frogs get seperated and newlander gets bitten and blames edgar for not saving him (giving reason why he is wanting to come after Edgar)

on the corey side staying with the alternate ending and mini scene in the credits...Haim gets bit by newlander trying to help him and goes to feldman to help save him before he turns to a full vampire. To do this they have to kill newlander, but edgar refuses (cant do it) and Haim runs out of time and is fully turned leading to his anger towards feldman and explains the unresolved issue and why they are about to fight.

what do you guys think of this story? It all fits with the scenes and the story

In the first Lost Boys movie as the Frog brothers and Sam escape David after killing Marko,Sam almost backs over a cliff in haste. He then yells at Edgar:"Burn rubber does not mean warp speed!!!"

I've never understood that line and if anyone can shed some light on this please e-mail me...Thanks

Haim is a boner. There will always be some 30 year old fatty like Christy that still has the hots for him, and still uses too much aqua net, but he's a has-been. I agree with Joe, these two were fun to watch long ago, but neither of the Coreys ever had any talent.
