Sizzling Night of the Demons Casting News!

Diora Baird, Shannon Elizabeth and Monica Keena (pictured below) have joined the cast of Night of the Demons, director Adam Gierasch's remake of the 1988 flick by Kevin Tenney. (Holy smokes, right?!) Elizabeth is set to play Angela - previously essayed by actress Amelia Kinkade in the original - a possessed party hostess who makes things a living hell for her friends.
This trio comes to the project equipped with a fair collective share of horror creds. Baird previously starred in Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning and next appears in Stan Helsing; Keena wedged herself into a battle between to terror titans in Freddy vs. Jason; and you've seen Elizabeth in Thirteen Ghosts and Cursed
Night of the Demons begins shooting mid-September in New Orleans based on a script by Gierasch and Jace Anderson. The pair jumped on board the property in February (details).
More casting announcements are expected later this week!

First!!!! Wow, this is great. I actually just watched the sequel a couple of weeks ago and wondered what a modern take on the series would be like. Hopefully it sticks to its roots with plenty of excessive nudity and cheesy acting like the original!

As much as this might never touch the original in style, I still can't wait to see this new version! Especially with THIS cast!

I can't believe that Shannon Elizabeth is playing the orginial Queen Demon, Angela.
The original Night of the Demons is my favorite and I can't wait to see the REMAKE!!!
