Sexy Salma Hayek Finds Place in Cirque du Freak

Sure, sure...Cirque du Freak may mark, as Variety recognizes, Salma Hayek's return to acting since taking a maternity leave. But it sounds like her part in the film may be her hairiest turn since Frida.
According to the trade paper, Hayek will play the bearded lady in Cirque du Freak, a new horror film from Universal Pictures. She'll play opposite John C. Reilly and Josh Hutcherson. Paul Weitz is directing this adaptation of the children's book series.
Reilly will star as a vampire who drafts a 14-year-old to serve as his assistant. The youth is turned into a half-vampire and becomes the catalyst in a battle between vampires and the rival Vampanese.
Shooting begins next month.
