Plot Summary: The sequel is set in the shady surf city of Luna Bay, California, where vampires quickly dispatch anyone who crosses their path. Into this dark world arrive Chris Emerson and his younger sister, Nicole. Having just lost their parents in a car accident, the siblings move in with their eccentric Aunt Jillian and become new prey for the locals' way of life. When Nicole unwittingly falls for a local vampire, Chris must locate and destroy the gang's lifeline before his sister's transformation is complete; to do this Chris finds himself relying on the expertise of none other than Edgar Frog (Corey Feldman). Subtle references to characters from the original film, and cameos from returning actors offer homage to the Lost Boys legend and set a sinister tone of impending doom.

This movie has the exact same plot line as the first movie.

i was in 3rd 6rade when the 1st one was released and when i was finally old enough to see it, it by far has been in my top ten fav vampire movies. im stoked to see the 2nd but scared its going straight to dvd. means it sucks. please prove me wrong!

Posted by: Melissa on March 7, 2008 at 22:37:08

I hope the vampires are as hot as the last movie?

Dude, WTF!! This trailer is seriously weak~!! I’m holding out hope that the movie will be better but it looks like a classic straight to DVD trailer. Very disappointing to say the least.

Posted by: kate on March 12, 2008 at 14:26:34

Corey Feldman sounds so lame in the trailer. He's overacting. The first movie will always be the best. They shouldn't consider this one a sequel.

Posted by: jd on March 12, 2008 at 16:51:13

What a steaming pile of **** this trailer was, Sorry to say it but it was.

Posted by: jd on March 12, 2008 at 16:55:01

Who knows it might be good, but most likely not, the first movie had well known actors and director. This has neither.

Posted by: jd on March 12, 2008 at 16:59:34

The vampires look stupid like something out buffy or angel perhaps even worse, and does does danzig even know they have their song in this trailer.

I am seriously wondering if the negative people were watching the same trailer as me? Of course it could just be they are more professional critics than I am but the jury's still out on that one! I think the trailer looks great and I am really positive about it now I've seen clips. Just wanted to add to respond to kate by saying that in Corey Feldman's defence, he overacted in the first movie too so it shouldn't surprise you that he continues to do so in the sequel (bearing in mind that the character of Edgar Frog is supposed to take himself seriously and not realise how much of a loser he actually appears to everyone else, which I think Feldman captures quite brilliantly!!)

It's bound to have mixed reviews but I personally am looking forward to it proving all the negative people wrong and the open minded people right :-) - Bring it on!!

What a ****ing piece of **** this going to be.

Posted by: Katt on March 14, 2008 at 13:05:54

Dare we hope it's half as good as the original?

LOVE the first one . . . the trailer looks pretty impressive to me . . . boy, does Keifer's younger bro look like him!

"Haimster" & "Felldog" are back!

Posted by: kate on March 15, 2008 at 20:54:39

To LS - Yes, Corey Feldman overacted in the first, but he was young. Now, he is an adult. I can't take him seriously in anything he does.

this movie will be good. feldman looks no different than he did in the first one.

Thanks for the details about why Corey Haim isn't in the majority of this movie, michael morley. Just one thing, though. Where did you get this info from?

I loved the first movie; it's in the top ten movies for sure. I am a little disappointed with the trailer though. I am very picky about the details and I noticed the eyes of the new vampires are black. The forehead has a different shape as the first movie. One of the things I liked about the lost boys was the way they used shadows in the vampire's face. I hope they have the same artistic touch on this new one. The background music is also a huge part of the first one. I am really hoping to hear some The Doors on this movie, otherwise call it Buffy The Vampire. I am trying to be optimistic though.... keeping my fingers crossed.

Im just interested to see if they link Angus to Keifer (brothers in real life obviously) so it could be an interesting family tie-in with David.....overall im a bit daunted though. The plot does sound rather similiar to the first but it'll be watched and hopefully i'll be proved wrong and this will turn into a cult classic. The trailer didnt look bad so fingers crossed

LS - will you marry me?!

A lot of people are pretty-close minded. I am really looking forward to this however I do agree the trailer was weak, but hey - we see weak trailers all the time.

What makes this one so different?

Posted by: Jason on April 23, 2008 at 19:36:52

I really hope they are looking to make a good movie and not just make a sequel with more gore and sex.
