Holding, Weta Wake the Dead

Following up on our breaking news early Friday concerning the film adaptation of Steve Niles' graphic novel Wake the Dead, The Hollywood Reporter is adds Charlie Lyons (The Water Horse) is on board to produce through Holding Pictures. The company will finance development and possibly principal photography. Also, Weta - Peter Jackson's FX shop stationed in New Zealand - has been tapped to bring Dead's dead to life.
