EXCL: Gary Tunnicliffe to Direct The Sum of 9

Gary J. Tunnicliffe is slipping into the director's chair.
The special make up effects vet behind such films as Exorcist:The Beginning, Scream 4, Drive Angry and My Bloody Valentine has just signed on to direct The Sum of 9 : The Chosen Ones for Mystic Haze Productions.
The $10 million dollar feature film will shoot in Louisiana next year.
The screenplay by Jane Astrove tells the story of two young men who return to their childhood school, where as teens they witnessed an ancient, malevolent entity. Their return and investigations uncover a host of dark secrets and set in motion a string of terrifying events and dark revelations.

That's the art? Is it the The Sum of 9: The Chosen Ones, or The Sum of the Chosen Ones 9? This poster is really bad.
Tunnicliffe is great. Hellraiser: Revelations was way better than people said. While he was not the director on that, he did take a huge leap forward into screenwriting. I'll check this out. Worst case is we get really good fx.
