There's a report at JustJared.com that we need to address because it's now polluting our comment boards. The site states actress Lindsay Lohan has signed up to star in Platinum Dunes' A Nightmare on Elm Street. Further confusing matters is the inclusion of quotes from Dunes co-producer Andrew Form.
This is a complete fabrication. Do not believe it.
Producer Brad Fuller wrote in to tell us in one word that this story is "ridiculous." And now we're getting word Variety has picked up JustJared's ruse. Will the NoES rumor mill ever end? Unlikely, now that a director Samuel Bayer is attached, this project will be picking up steam.
