Exclusive! The Red Band Trailer for Jennifer's Body!
Source:Ryan Rotten, Managing Editor
July 6, 2009

She took on wise-crackin', leg-humpin' robots in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and now Megan Fox is wielding a voracious appetite and going head-to-head with Amanda Seyfried in Jennifer's Body, 20th Century Fox's horror offering arriving on September 18th. Screenwriter Diablo Cody (Juno) whipped up this hellish tale about a high school cheerleader (Fox), screwed over by a visiting rock band, who becomes possessed by a demon and begins to feed off of the fellas in her town.

In a exclusive, we've got your first look at the red band trailer. 'Tis right, your first ever peek at the film before a green band trailer strikes soon. Here, director Karyn Kusama, Cody and producer Jason Reitman can explain...

"Fox is putting a trailer of Jennifer's Body in front of Bruno this Friday. Great, right? Only problem is it's not our trailer. It's kind of a straight horror preview and while we're sure it'll appeal to many of you, we wanted to make sure you guys got to see our cut... Lets call it the "filmmaker's cut". We think it captures the comedy and scares of the horror films we grew up on - a kind of nostalgia for when horror films were fun. Can't wait to show you the whole film... In the meantime, here's the red band trailer we wanted our fans to see."

- Karyn, Diablo, and Jason

Cool, yes? Enjoy the trailer and expect a full Jennifer's Body set visit report soon!

Hhhmmmmmmm....looks interesting. Still think "Drag Me to Hell" is the BEST horror(comedy) of the year, hands down.

I was saying that the movie looks good but the trailer doesn't make the movie looks like the genre-benders that I've come to expect from Diablo Cody. "Juno" was a comedic drama, the TV series she created for Showtime, "United States of Tara" was darkly comic episodic drama. But with the trailer for "Jennifer's Body", I can't make heads-or-tails of the movie. That's what I meant.

Yeah, we all get it, Megan Fox is smokin' hot. But going to see the movie doesn't put your **** inside her. Therefore, I'll hold on to my $12.

looks cool. I can't wait to see Adam Brody in it.

megan fox is truly hot and sexy and also jennifer,s body is great horror movies for 2009.

Let me get this straight, this is not a remake, not a sequel, not a comic book adaptation, not a biopic....ok, I'll see it !! What i don't get is the hate on Cody and even Juno, to me it's as pointless as Godfather 3 hate, one half hated it just because the other half did, without knowing why !

Posted by: E on July 6, 2009 at 15:47:56

I'll see it.

Posted by: E on July 6, 2009 at 15:50:05

I saw adam brody like 4 years ago.

I do agree that the trailer was alright up until it started trying to be funny. As someone who graduated high school 3 months ago, I can assure you that NO ONE talks the way people do in Diablo's "scripts." Maybe they did in the early 80s, right before she started stripping.

Posted by: LaMorte on July 6, 2009 at 16:26:53

Nobody in the real world is talking like people in movies and i mean every movies, even in an adult drama they always know what to tell as if they were prepared, in order to make the audience cry.

And Matt, in the early 80's you were this close to get outta your dad's nutsack before the hour when he was jerkin off to a Cody's fellow stripper, dumbass !

I love watching movies in which Megan Fox is in because even though shes hot she also got a lot of talent to show to all her fans.
Love you Megan!

Fox's acting, even in the trailer is ****, she cant manange simple dialoge!

John Cale, you are a prudish little twit, if not a misogynist. I can't believe you took the trouble to twice, TWICE, type out eat and die to Ms. Cody. Seriously, get a grip. Were you afraid that we were being deprived of your words of wisdom? I think we got it, even with the asterisks.

So she was a stripper (not a whore, you redneck), so what? So you don't like her movies...and? So she deserves to die?

Christ, when does a woman director not eat Seriously, Mr. Cale, do you get this bent out of shape about other less-than-stellar directors, like Todd Philips, or M.G.? Maybe you should take a time out in the corner, and check your attitude, you p***k.

Amos, i agree. John Cale the fact you actually went to the trouble and douche baggery to write your lame post TWICE shows how much of a douche you are.

dont know how exclusive this is considering its up on Film force rotten tomatoes and a few other sites ive been to this weekend...

Hate to sound negative but this looks terrible... maybe its just because i hate Diablo Cody and wish she would die..go back to takin your clothes off and quit tryin to make movies please...

Posted by: Nunya on July 6, 2009 at 21:21:20

Wow - all this hate for one lady director who made one movie that you might have not like. Man - some people should die and it's people like Eo and John Cale funnily and ironically enough. Humans like this don't deserve to live.

The Waitresses are awesome.

Posted by: Orlando on July 6, 2009 at 21:55:00

Correct me if Im wrong but Diablo Cody did one movie and that series on tv(which I have not seen) but from my knowledge have both been successful. Im not a huge fan of Juno, but I didn't find it to be even close to being a bad movie. My point is Ms. Cody should be given some damn respect from you crazy ****ers. How the hell do you sleep at night after telling someone to die or go get back on your pole, b/c they made a movie you didn't like. Thats sick. After she'd better herself from being a stripper to now being a somebody(unlike you)with alittle pride in her hands from what she has done. And then you make those type of comments. Screw freedom of speech, get real and get some ****ing help.
Jennifer's Body looks good to me, not something Ill rush to see, but something I wouldn't mine seeing.

Looks lame. Yet another crap 'scary movie' with the latest treat of the week showing off her body to sell some tickets and a plot dredged up from the stagnant pond called Hollywood.

Sick n Tired.

Good observation Nunya.. its all about the writing style buddy...she wrote juno which was a piece of crap with dumbass lines and a stupid if she wrote a whole story like that whats to say all of a sudden her second script is going to be different? yea its a horror movie which is differnt but i bet we will hear the same kind of style in things said..juno might have been alright if it wasnt for all the stupid things said that were more annoying than funny.. Megan Fox is hot as hell which almost makes checking out this movie something i'd do..but no thanks.. I'll check this out when i can ripp it offline..wouldnt spend a dollar on this garbage

Posted by: Eo on July 6, 2009 at 23:04:40

and since your so smart Nunya lets remember she has been writing these not directing them..i guess i need to die because i think she should go back to stripping..makes a lot of sense

It is ironic how Megan Fox recently has stated that Michael Bay focuses not on the quality of acting in his films but primarily on the action sequences and effects, then she goes and takes up a role in this movie that is mostly going to flop.

While I agree with her, and personally believe that no amount of " Awesome! " special effects would have made Transformers 2 a respectable movie, I am certain that this movie will do nothing to help her career or that of her credibility in Hollywood.

Juno was a great movie. The trailer for this movie appears to look good but will have to see the movie to make the final call. As for all the haters, you are a bunch of f**kers who probably loved licking Uncle Bush's balls. Horror movies have never been Oscar worthy kind of film making. They are supposed to be stupid, funny and gory. If they are really good they will have a few scares.
